Lima-area Bluffton University students recognized for academics

BLUFFTON — Lima-area Bluffton University students were recently recognized for their academic achievements during the Academic Awards and Honors Forum on April 24.

Bluffton seniors Ashley Backs, of Coldwater, and Emma Eickholt, of Ottoville, were recognized for their completion of the Honors Program.

Kera Engle, of Wapakoneta, won the Naomi Brenneman Prize for her entitled, “How Does That Make You Feel?”

Elizabeth Luersman, of Fort Jennings, won the Art Show Juror’s Awards of Distinction and the Lion and Lamb Art Award.

Cara Echols, of New Bremen, won The Gregg Luginbuhl Award for Best of Show.

Mary Bias, of Lima, won the Gregg Luginbuhl Award for ceramics.
