Elida student is district winner of Ohio House of Representatives art exhibition

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Bob Cupp, R-Lima, announced that Carolina Marie Quintero has been named the 4th House District winner of the 2018 Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition.

Quintero is a junior at Elida High School in the art class of Erin Johnson.

“Our daily lives are enriched by art, which is a medium expressing beauty and emotion. I commend Carolina for her exemplary work that earned her this award. I am proud that Allen County’s talent will be showcased in our state capital,” Cupp said in a prepared statement.

The exhibition is open to the public at the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in the lower level Statehouse connector through the end of this year.
