The Cancer Association of Auglaize County creates new logo

NEW BREMEN — A New Bremen student was recently recognized for her concept of the new Cancer Association of Auglaize County logo.

The board of directors of the Cancer Association of Auglaize County had decided at the end of last year that they needed a new logo.

The life preserver logo had been used since 2011 and they felt as if they needed something more fresh and was more representative of the organization.

In an effort to create a new local, the board of directors decided to have a logo competition between 9-12th grade students from four schools in Auglaize county. The only requirement was to have “Caring About All Cancers” in the design.

Out of the two dozen entries, the board chose the design from New Bremen student and other students received honorable mention from all four schools in Auglaize.
