Prescott inducted into ONU honorary organization

ADA — R. Michael Prescott, of Mason, has been inducted as an honorary member of the Beta Alpha Psi accounting and finance honorary at the Ohio Northern University James F. Dicke College of Business Administration.

Prescott earned a bachelor’s degree with high distinction in accounting from Ohio Northern in 1984. He earned an MBA with a focus on finance and marketing from Ohio State University.

He is currently president of U.S. Bank’s Cincinnati market, where he is responsible for the back’s activities and commercial-lending efforts in the Cincinnati region. He also has market responsibility for Florida; North Carolina; Nashville, Tenn.; Louisville, Ky.; and St. Louis, Mo.

Previously he served as executive director of the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority, where he was responsible for all aspects of Ohio’s 529 plan. Prior to that he was a member of Huntington Bank’s executive team.
