LIMA — All Lima City Schools employees will go through Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate training at 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at all district buildings Friday, Oct. 6.

This is the first time ALICE training will be district wide. The training is designed to help teach trainees to prepare and plan to proactively handle an aggressive intruder or active shooter event.

Various law enforcement agencies will be present at all buildings to assist in the training.

There will be no school at Lima City Schools on Oct. 6, while ALICE training is happening.
