State grants institutional reauthorization to UNOH

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Higher Education announced Friday that the University of Northwestern Ohio has been granted institutional reauthorization through Dec. 31, 2026, to offer Associate of Applied Business, Associate of Applied Science, Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degree designations.

“I take great pride in being part of an institution which has a goal of educating individuals to become productively employed in their chosen career paths and providing a campus environment which encourages students to get involved in campus life, maintain better grades, and establish lasting friendships,” said Dr. Jeffrey A. Jarvis, UNOH president, in a press release. “The reauthorization by ODHE for a period of 10 years is a great accomplishment and a testament to UNOH’s commitment to higher education.”

Dr. Dean Hobler, provost and vice president for academic affairs at UNOH, said it “ensures our students that they have made a quality choice by attending the University of Northwestern Ohio. The university is committed to offering quality education in business, health professions, occupational professions, and applied technology fields at the associate, baccalaureate, and master degree levels.”
