Spots available for free preschool class at Waynesfield-Goshen

WAYNESFIELD — Waynesfield-Goshen schools is encouraging families to sign their children up for free preschool, as spots are still open for an afternoon class the district added for the upcoming school year.

Most openings are for an afternoon class, which runs from 12:15 to 2:50 p.m. In-district transportation may be provided after school, but children will still need to be transported to class. Currently, there are between nine and 10 openings for afternoon preschool. By law, up to 16 students may be admitted to one class.

Morning preschool classes are full, but parents may submit an application to be placed on the waiting list. Parents will be notified if an opening occurs. W-G now has four preschool classes — two in the morning and two in the afternoon.
