Rhodes State to close for eclipse

LIMA — Rhodes State College will close Monday, April 8, in anticipation of heavy traffic for the total solar eclipse.

“This decision comes as part of our commitment to the safety and enjoyment of our students and staff during this rare celestial occurrence as the area prepares for a surge of visitors during this time,” Andra Goings, vice president of human resources, said in a press release Friday.

The college will operate remotely Tuesday, April 9, while clinicals will resume as normal.
