LIMA — Lima Memorial Health System wants to educate the public about colon health with the help of an inflatable colon exhibit, which will be on display in the hospital welcome center Friday, March 29.
Visitors can walk through the exhibit and meet with proctologist Dr. Shannon Wesley to learn about colorectal cancer, screenings and preventative care.
The disease is the third most-common cancer diagnosed in men and women in the U.S., according to the American Cancer Society.
