Bath students learn dangers of impaired driving

BATH TOWNSHIP — Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol spoke to seniors and freshmen from Bath High School Tuesday about the dangers of distracted and impaired driving.

OSHP Trooper Alan Hankinson and Sergeant Chad Recker spoke with 150 freshmen and seniors, who were given the opportunity to simulate the experience of distracted and impaired driving through “drunk goggles,” according to a press release about the event.

The event was held in partnership with the Lima-Allen County Safe Community Coalition and the Arrive Alive Tour.
