ADA — Heir Force Community School students will learn the basics of engineering during a series of hands-on workshops Tuesday at Ohio Northern University.
An introduction to machines workshop will teach students how engineers design machines so students can build their own, while a structural engineering workshop asks students to build the tallest yet lightest bridge, according to the day’s agenda.
The series concludes with a workshop on autonomous delivery, during which students will learn how to program spherical robots to navigate the classroom.
