Wreaths Across America mobile unit to visit Lima

LIMA — The Wreaths Across America Organization’s mobile education exhibit will make a stop in Lima in May as part of its mission to remember the fallen, honor those who serve and their families and teach the next generation the value of freedom.

The organization is most recognized for placing more than 2.7 million veterans’ wreaths at more than 3,700 locations nationally and abroad on National Wreaths Across America Day.

Organizers will share their mission with the public during a stop from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at the Shawnee Cemetery, 2600 Zurmehly Road.

Wreaths Across America Day will take place this year on Dec. 14.
