OTTAWA — The Northwest Ohio Beekeeping Association will hold a one-day class for beginning beekeepers from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Putnam County Extension Office, 1206 E. Second St., Ottawa.
The $40 class includes NWOBA membership, a free one-year membership to the Ohio State Beekeepers Association and a beginner’s book.
Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.
The NWOBA meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Putnam County Extension Office, except in June, July, August and December when the club does not meet. All are welcome.
