CLEVELAND, Ohio — Ice cream may not be on everyone’s mind during a frigid January, but Ohio-born Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream has released a new flavor that channels a warm whiskey cocktail.
Jeni’s recently released a Hot Toddy Sorbet that is infused with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey.
The sorbet includes flavors of orange, lemon, honey and cayenne pepper to emulate the taste of a hot toddy cocktail with a frozen twist.
The limited-edition flavor is available online and at Jeni’s scoop shops. The slightly boozy treat is dairy-free and gluten-free so even more whiskey enthusiasts can enjoy it.
Jeni’s has a Greater Cleveland Scoop Shop at 67 N. Main Street in Chagrin Falls. It’s also sold at many grocery stores throughout Northeast Ohio. Jeni’s is known for making inventive ice cream flavors inspired by pop culture and trends, often with limited-edition options.
