Equestrian Therapy Program

All day at Fassett Farm

The Equestrian Therapy Program will run at various times throughout the day Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The fall session, which also includes Monday and Tuesday programs, will be offered through Nov. 4 at Fassett Farm, 22532 Bowsher Road, Cridersville. The program offers therapeutic horseback riding, equine assisted psychotherapy and other equine assisted programs.

Docent Enrichment Sessions

9 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at the Allen County Museum

The Allen County Museum will hold Docent Enrichment Sessions for new and veteran volunteers. Speakers will present programs about museum exhibits and local history.

Docents lead adult and children’s tours as well as guide walk-in visitors around the museum.

Legacy Arts Street Party Music Festival

12-8 p.m. Saturday on Main Street between High and North streets

The block in downtown Lima will be closed for this event, which will feature music, food trucks, art activities and a drink-and-beer tent. The event is free and family-friendly.

OTHER EVENTS

Winans Pop-up: 5-8 p.m. Thursday at 209 S. Central Ave., Lima. Winans Chocolates and Coffees from Piqua will have a pop up, which will feature caramel apples, buckeyes, fall-decorated top sellers and boxes of all of Winans’ top-selling chocolates.

Party for Positivity: 4-9 p.m. Friday at the Harrod Event Center, 9520 Harrod Road, Harrod. Help Angie fight cancer at the Party for Positivity outdoor vendor benefit. There will be food trucks, a raffle, bounce house, face-painting, crafts, live music and a bake sale.

Allen County Pickleball Tournament: All day Saturday and Sunday at the Collett Street Recreational Park, 800 S. Collett St., Lima. Habitat for Humanity and Lima Firefighters I.A.F.F. Local 334 will host the event, which is open to all ages and skill levels by division. Proceeds go toward the construction of a fire station at Safety City and a future HFH project done with firefighters. Lunch and dessert will also be available.
