Lima accepting applications for Neighborhood Impact Grant

LIMA — The city of Lima is now accepting applications for the Neighborhood Impact Grant. According to a recent press release, the applications are open starting now until 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29.

“We are providing a neighborhood impact grant,” Neighborhood Specialist Sydni Winkler said. “We are looking for any 501 C3 organizations or neighborhood associations looking to get their neighbors out and make an impact.”

Winkler said the applications are located online or can be obtained in person.

“You can get up to $2,000,” Winkler said. “If you are looking for more assistance Activate Allen County has partnered with us. They will also provide (if you are awarded) an additional $2,000 — This is a great way to get people out, involved and really do a hands-on project.”

Applications can be sent to the City of Lima-Department of Housing and Neighborhoods. Attn to Sydni Winkler, Neighborhood Specialist; 50 Town Square; Lima, Ohio.
