LIMA — The Lima’s Samaritan House plans to celebrate 36 years of service in the community. The local homeless shelter will host its celebration from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9 at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center, 7 Town Square. Panera Bread will provide food. The event also invited Dueling Pianos to perform with evening host Jeff Fitzgerald.
The organization will also be accepting donations for an auction and event sponsors until Tuesday, Aug. 1.
