LIMA — As the heat rises, community members are creating provisions for those in need. Sixth Ward Council Member Derry Glenn held a press conference Thursday afternoon to discuss the need for air conditioners. Glenn is inviting community members to donate new or used units for older adults.
“We have a lot of adults who need air conditioning due to the weather,” said Glenn. “It is getting hot outside. We can pick up the air conditioners if anyone would like to donate. For monetary donations, a check can be made payable to Community Action Program.”
