Latta’s TikTok bill signed into law

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Bob Latta, R-Bowling Green, announced the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act passed the U.S. Senate on Tuesday night.

The bill, which Latta co-led, would force ByteDance, a Chinese-controlled company, to sell the social media app TikTok or be shut down.

President Biden signed the bill into law Wednesday afternoon.
