LIMA — The mayor’s spring clean-up will start at 9 a.m. and last until noon on Saturdays during the month of May. The four-weekend event invites community members to participate in cleaning their homes and neighborhoods. Dumpsters will be located around the city for trash. According to a recent press release, propane tanks, mercury switches, radioactive materials, compressed gas cylinders, batteries, aerosol cans, chemical waste and appliances are not permitted at the dumpsters.
Dumpsters will be located at the following locations:
• Jose and Son’s Recycling, 1016 S. Central Ave.
• Boys Scouts of America, 654 W. O’Connor Ave.
• Habitat for Humanity Restore, 1571 Allentown Rd.
• City of Lima Department of Housing and Neighborhoods, 900 S. Collett St.
