World War II Living History

4 to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday

Travel back in time to the European theatre of World War II at the Living History Weekend event at Lauer Farms, 800 Roush Road, Lima. As many as 150 to 200 re-enactors will be at the event showing what life was like for soldiers on the front lines during the Lorraine campaign in 1944. Battle reenactments will take place at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Haunted Town Hall

7:30 p.m. to midnight every Friday and Saturday in October

Plenty of frights will be in store for those who dare to enter the Haunted Town Hall, located at 103 S. High St. in Lafayette. Learn the scary tale of the evil Mayor Joseph who is ever ready to reap the souls of his helpless victims. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, with parents required to remain on site. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at https://bit.ly/3equbAH.

Blended Roots Fall Arts and Crafts Festival

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday

A variety of arts and crafts vendors will be on hand, along with food trucks, face painting and pony rides, at the Fall Arts and Crafts Festival at Blended Roots, 246 Cherry St., Bluffton. ‘Sacred Music for Sacred Spaces’

4 p.m. Sunday

Lima Senior Choral Music is presenting “Sacred Music for Sacred Spaces” at 4 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 777 S. Main St., Lima. The performance will feature choral pieces from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical periods in a beautiful, awe-inspiring setting.

Walk with Nature Festival

Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday

The Heritage Trails Park District and the St. Marys Kiwanis Club is hosting the 53rd annual Walk with Nature Festival from noon to 5 p.m. at Memorial Park in St. Marys. Families will be able to enjoy a relaxing autumn walk along the Miami Erie Canal, with shuttle bus service included, then return to Memorial Park to enjoy an arts and crafts show, live music, a farmers market, youth activities, Civil War re-enactors and a car cruise in. Vendor booths will also be on hand. In case of rain, the music performance will be held in the basement of St. Marys Eagles #767.

VIP doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with general admission doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

U.S. Presidents from Ohio fundraiser: 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Allen County Museum , 620 W. Market St., Lima. Tickets are $110 (couple) or $60 (individual).

Music is Medicine Concert: 7 p.m. Saturday, Lima Senior High School, 1 Spartan Way, Lima. Tickets are $15, with students aged 12 to 25 able to attend for free with a valid student ID.

“Trial of the Wicked Witch:” 7 p.m. Saturday, Fort Jennings High School, 1 Musketeer Drive, Fort Jennings. Tickets are $6 at the door.

Second Baptist Church 149th Anniversary: 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Second Baptist Church, 520 W. Spring St., Lima.

On Our Way Rejoicing: 3 p.m. Sunday, English Lutheran Church, 111 Grove St., Bluffton.
