Alele returns to Lima with opening of Apex Endocrinology

LIMA — Apex Endocrinology Diabetes & Metabolism Clinic Northwestern Ohio owner Dr. Jimmy Alele has opened his office at 920 West Market Street in Suite 330.

A board-certified endocrinologist, Dr. Alele deals with diseases that affect the endocrine system including but not limited to diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, metabolic bone disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and lipid disorders.

Some cases require a multidisciplinary approach which the doctor can provide, availing himself of the services provided by local hospitals.

“We’re here to provide a world class service to the population of Lima,” he said, “That simply means that people will not have to drive to OSU or Cleveland Clinic.”

Dr. Jimmy D. Alele, M.D. previously had served at Mercy Health St. Rita’s from 2010 to 2018. After a short sojourn to Good Samaritan and Bethesda hospitals in the TriHealth Corporation in Cincinnati, he is back to serve patients in Lima and the surrounding areas.

“I’m really happy to be back and I think that the community has been supportive.”

Satellite clinics hopefully will be established to allow patients greater access to the care that they need.

Office hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office can be reached at 567-940-5300
