VAN WERT — Thomas Buckner, Jr, 42, Ohio City, changed his plea to guilty Monday to charges that include the illegal manufacturing of drugs, a first-degree felony, and a third-degree felony count of child endangering. The plea changes came as a jury trial for Buckner was scheduled to get underway in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court.
Judge Martin Burchfield ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set a sentencing hearing for 1:30 p.m. on March 15.
