No one injured in apartment fire in Columbus Grove

COLUMBUS GROVE — No was injured during a fire at an apartment in Columbus Grove on Thursday night.

The Columbus Grove Fire Department and Putnam County EMS were dispatched at 9:30 p.m. Thursday to 631 W. Sycamore St., Apt. C9, in Columbus Grove in response to a structure fire with reported flames.

Upon arrival, firefighters found no one was in the residence at the time of the fire. AEP was dispatched to the scene to disconnect the power, and the state fire marshal was contacted to investigate the situation.

The Columbus Grove Police Department, Pandora Police Department, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Putnam County EMS also assisted at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
