2 men robbed outside Findlay bar

FINDLAY — Two men said they were robbed at gunpoint outside a Findlay bar early Tuesday and one of them was hit in the face with a handgun.

The Findlay Police Department responded to the call at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Nicki’s bar, 139 N. Main St.

The two men left Nicki’s bar at closing time when they were approached by two men in the rear of the parking lot, according to Police Department officials. One robber hit one of the victims on the side of his face with a handgun. That victim fell to the pavement and was unconscious for a brief time. The victim refused medical treatment.

The two robbers fled on foot northeast on Clinton Street. The robbers were not located. Findlay Police Department K9 assisted in the search of the suspects.

The robbers were described as young white males, about 20 years old and 5-foot-7-inches tall, thin and wearing white T-shirts over their faces. One of the men had brown curly hair, and the other had short dark hair.

Police officials refused to release the names of the two victims.
