Findlay police investigate stabbing

FINDLAY — Police officials were investigating the stabbing of a man early Sunday.

Police officers were called at 5:01 a.m. to the intersection of Liberty and West Front streets on report of a man stabbed. Officers found the man with a stab wound to the left torso. He was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury, Findlay Police Department officials reported.

Officers located “persons of interest” but did not elaborate. The incident remained under investigation, police officials reported Sunday.

Investigators would not release any names of those involved.
