Ohio Northern University students to help with tax preparation

ADA — Taxpayers in Hardin and surrounding counties can find free income tax assistance from Ohio Northern University business students through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

The VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income (generally $54,000 and below) individuals across the country who cannot prepare tax returns on their own.

ONU students will offer free electronic filing services from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from Tuesday through April 6 (excluding March 7-9) in Room 140 at the Dicke College of Business Administration, 525 S. Main St., Ada. Appointments are required.

To make an appointment or to learn more, contact site coordinator Dexter Woods at 419-772-2075.
