LIMA — The American Cancer Society reported that it will receive a $1,240 donation form Chief Supermarkets for its Drink for Pink event.
The event was held Oct. 20 at Chief’s South Cable Road location. People purchasing tickets were treated to an evening of wine and craft beer tasting, food and fellowship.
The goal of the event was to raise money and awareness about breast cancer.
