Final paving on Interstate 75 to begin Monday

LIMA — Milling of the pavement on Interstate 75 from East Fourth Street to the Auglaize County line will cause traffic reductions in both directions throughout the weekend, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Paving of the final course of asphalt, berm work, and striping will begin Monday, with work conducted from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Paving will continue from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day afterward for about a month. Speed limits will be reduced in the work zone during paving.

On state Route 65 below the interstate, traffic patters will continue to shift as concrete pavement work continues for the next two weeks. Interstate traffic north and south of state Route 65 is moving normally, with all barrier walls removed.
