LIMA — Because of “unforeseen circumstances,” Lima Allen County Neighborhoods in Partnership will not be hosting a National Night Out event this year in Town Square, LACNIP President Bob Friedman said.
On Tuesday, people across the nation are asked to join together by turning on their porch lights, going outside to meet their neighbors, and helping communities send a message of “Giving Crime and Drugs a Going Away Party” during the annual National Night Out event.
LACNIP is encouraging local residents to join the national movement during the hours of 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
