Noon siren test cancelled in Allen County

LIMA — The 50 Allen County community warning sirens will not be tested today as regularly scheduled.

The test was canceled due to the possibility of rains and storms in Allen County today, according to a press release from the Allen County Office of Homeland and Emergency Management. The sirens will be tested as scheduled at noon on the first Wednesday in June, on June 1.

In the event of an actual emergency, the sirens are an indication you should go indoors and check local news outlets for additional information and instructions on emergency actions to be taken.
