FINDLAY — The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office investigated a single car injury-crash Wednesday on state Route 568 near township Road 253.
According to the report, a yet to be named male from Carey was driving a silver 2013 Toyota four-door east on Route 568. The driver lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the north side of the road and struck a tree just west of Road 253.
The driver was taken by helicopter to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking a witness at the scene who was driving a yellow Camaro to call the department to give a statement regarding the crash.
The driver’s name was being held pending notification of family members.
