Ohio WIC announces expanded formula lineup

COLUMBUS — Families receiving the Ohio Department of Health’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) benefits will have more options when it comes to baby formula, after the U.S. Department of Agriculture granted a waiver to cover additional products.

Eight additional Mead Johnson formula products will be covered under WIC starting June 13, according to a Monday release from Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine:

• Enfamil Infant Powder (29.4 ounces)

• Enfamil NeuroPro Infant Powder (28.3 ounces)

• Enfamil NeuroPro Infant Powder box (31.4 ounces)

• Enfamil Gentlease Powder (27.7 ounces)

• Enfamil NeuroPro Gentlease Powder (27.4 ounces)

• Enfamil NeuroPro Gentlease Powder box (30.4 ounces)

• Enfamil AR Powder box (30.4 ounces)

• Enfamil Prosobee Powder (20.9 ounces)
