LIMA — The Lima Exchange Club has installed a new slate of officers for their next club year which runs from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023.

LAKEVIEW — Aquatic harvesters have removed 5,000 cubic yards of vegetation outside of South Bank, Pew Island and Old Field Beach at Indian Lake, part of an Ohio Department of Natural Resources cleanup effort that started in June.

ST. MARYS — The Auglaize County Historical Society will celebrate St. Marys’ bicentennial with a custom deck of playing cards that will feature different historic photographs from St. Marys on the face of the cards and educational facts that highlight St. Marys and its history.

INDIANAPOLIS — At her home in Rockford, Illinois, Rita Davisson said the “one or two” mice she normally sees during the waning winter months “have turned into more like 10 or 15” in the last couple years, and scientists say the warmer weather might have something to do with it.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY — The Auglaize County Sheriff’s office was made aware of a Facebook post via the “Auglaize County homes/Apartments for rent/sale” group warning residents of dangerous individuals attacking someone with a knife. The two individuals pictured in the post were taken off of the United Kingdom’s most wanted website from 2014.

Five Mercer County residents were arrested Monday night on drug-related charges.

LIMA — Allen County Commissioners approved contracts Tuesday between the Allen County Department of Job and Family Services and two nonprofit organizations. Josh Parker, Allen County Job and Family Services Assistant Director, was present via Zoom to represent the company.
