LIMA — Michael and Barbara Flynn are celebrating 50 years of marriage with a vow renewal Mass at 5 p.m. June 24 at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 240 W. Robb Ave., Lima. A private family dinner and family trip are also planned.
Michael Flynn and Barbara Casey were married on June 23, 1973 at St. Gerard Catholic Church in Lima by Revs. William Geiger and Lawrence Varney.
They are the parents of Kelly (Mark) Monahan of Worthington, Molly (Brian) Goad of Westerville, Kevin (Randi) Flynn of Grove City and Patrick (Carann) Flynn of Lake Zurich, Illinois. They have eight grandchildren.
Michael is the former third-generation owner of R.A. Flynn & Son Heating and Air Conditioning, and Barbara is a former middle school teacher at St. Gerard School, now retired, and is currently working at www.sendoutcards.com.
