ArtSpace seeking submissions for spring show
LIMA — ArtSpace/Lima is calling for submissions for its annual juried Spring Show, which is scheduled for May 4 through June 15.
Wapak to host state of the city
WAPAKONETA — The state of the city, schools and county address will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 at the Wapak Eagles, 25 E. Auglaize St. The luncheon is open to the public and costs $20 for registration. According to a recent press release, businesses can sponsor the event for $250. The participating businesses will receive promotions on social media, in the newspaper and email. The release also states the mayor, commissioners and superintendent will speak.

Equitas announces first union contract
LIMA — Equitas Health Workers has announced the organization won its first union contract. According to a recent press release, the union agreement includes signing bonuses, wage increases and a binding grievance. The organization reportedly represents hundreds of workers.

Citizens National Bank to host shred day
LIMA — In honor of Community Banking Month, Citizens National Bank will host a community shred day. According to a recent press release, the shred day will be held on Friday, April 26 at each branch. The release also states community members can bring 3 office boxes or grocery bags full of papers. The accepted items include financial statements, checks, pay stubs, tax records, items with social security numbers or signatures, magazines and mail.
