Ten Thousand Villages announces artist of the month

LIMA — Ten Thousand Villages has announced Beth Boehr is the artist of the month. According to a recent press release, the community is invited to watch the artist complete a Celtic knot paper cutting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at Ten Thousand Villages, 115 S. Main St., Bluffton.

Bluffton University to close during eclipse

LIMA — Bluffton University will be closed during the eclipse on Monday, April 8. According to a recent press release, the University is hosting researchers from the University of Wyoming. The release also states only the participants of the research will be allowed on campus. There will be no places for community members to view the eclipse on campus. Shawnee Alliance to host Easter services

LIMA — Shawnee Alliance Church will be holding several services to celebrate Easter. The first service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the West Campus Activity Center, 4450 Shawnee Road. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 31, at the East Campus Sanctuary. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the West Campus Activity Center.
