LIMA — Five soon-to-be students at Ohio State University received a full- or half-tuition scholarship at a dinner and ceremony April 18 in the Student Services Center on the campus of OSU-Lima. The awards to incoming freshman were made possible by a gift by Arthur and Marian Rudd.
The full-tuition winner is Anna Walker, from Troy. Half-tuition winners include Kurtis Bowersock, Waynesfield-Goshen; Madison Langhals, Columbus Grove; Geddy Davis, Columbus Grove; and Troy Elwer, Delphos St. John’s.
The Arthur and Marian Rudd Scholarship Fund provides full- and half-tuition scholarships each year to students for whom such an award will make a significant financial difference. The scholarships are renewable for four years. At current tuition levels, the full scholarship will be worth about $7,553 per year and $30,212 over the life of the scholarship.
