Surgical masks are not going to protect anyone from a virus. You have better protection from your natural flora on your skin than you do from a surgical mask. But, you say you can breathe it in if you didn’t wear your mask. Guess what? You can breathe it in even wearing your mask.
Let’s say you’re in a 12x12x12 foot room that has little doors on it over that room, and that room represents one of the cells in your body. Now those little doors only open if the right key is placed in its slot. You are the DNA of that room. Now a virus comes along and wants to multiply, but that virus needs the DNA to produce more RNA Phages just like itself before the body can tell the cells to stop taking in those RNA Phages.
The cell is destroyed in the process, along with the DNA (that’s you). How is it the virus able to get one of those little doors open to get to you? The RNA Phage have protein markers that resemble one of your little door’s keys. This is how it tricks the cell to let in the virus to attack.
So how did that virus got into your body? You breathed it in through your mask. How small is that virus? 12 feet by 12 feet by 12 feet room is the cell. The little doors are 12 inches by 12 inches. The virus is the size of your coffee mug.
You can stand 6 feet away from one another without wearing the mask and not have to worry about the coronavirus.
