Master gardener training courses begin Jan. 25

KENTON — The Hardin County Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will host a training course, starting with orientation from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the extension office located in suite 103 at 1021 Lima St., Kenton.

Additional classes are slated for Tuesday, Feb. 1 and 15, March 1, 15 and 29.

Cost of training is $150, not including a background check at the volunteer’s expense. Registration deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 18. For more info, visit mgvolunteers.osu.edu or call Mark Badertscher at 419-767-6037.
