KENTON — The Ohio State University Hardin County Extension Office is offering a class for farmers to become pesticide applicators from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 1021 W. Lima St.
Once a trainee is prepared for a pesticide license, an exam must be taken at an Ohio Dept. of Agriculture testing site.
Those wanting to participate in the class must call the extension office at 419-674-2297 by Wednesday, Jan. 19, to register. Cost is $30.
