April 11

Alisia R. Garza, 34, Ashtabula, was sentenced to 330 days in jail for violating community control sanctions. The violations included failing to report a law enforcement contact on Dec. 5 to her supervising officer, using methamphetamines on one or more occasion in the month of December 2023 and failing to report to her supervising officer since Nov. 29. She was placed on five years community control and was given credit for 290 days served as of April 11. She was originally convicted of aggravated possession of drugs, assault, and two counts of aggravated menacing.

April 12

The Pleasant Township Trustees were granted judgment against Ronda Hastings, Kalida, regarding her property located at 17524 Road 8P in Pleasant Township, Putnam County. According to court records, Hastings has permitted junk vehicles, noxious weeds, debris, and refuse to be located on and or maintained on this property causing conditions that are dangerous and unhealthy that is detrimental to the health and safety to Pleasant Township so as to constitute a nuisance.

Isaiah R. Siefker, 22, Ottawa, was sentenced to 323 days in jail for attempted felonious assault. He was placed on five years community control and was given credit for 323 days served. He was ordered not to be on the premises of Walmart, Ottawa, and must complete all treatment and aftercare with counseling and medical professionals.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

April 1

Alexis Rivera, 41, Lima, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of failure to control was dismissed.

Douglas L. Hughes, 55, Beaverdam, was fined $100 for driving under suspension and court costs for headlights.

April 2

Francisco Magallanes, 63, Deshler, was fined $150 for wrongful entrustment.
