Diddy lawyer to speak at ONU

ADA — The attorney for music producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will speak to law students at Ohio Northern University on Wednesday.

Attorney Bobbi Sternheim, who recently represented Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, will talk about her career as a defense attorney at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Tilton Hall, Room 129, on ONU’s campus, 525 S. Main St., Ada.

The event is free and open to the public.

Sternheim is famous for defending high-profile defendants like an al-Qaeda member charged with participating in the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa, which killed 224 people, as well as an al-Qaeada affiliate in Yemen accused of plotting to bomb Heathrow airport in London, according to a press release from ONU.

She has tried international organized crime and racketeering conspiracies, international terrorism offenses, international telemarketing fraud, capital murder and interstate transport of pornographic media, and represented federal defendants charged with death-penalty eligible offenses.

She is the first and only woman to receive the New York Criminal Bar Association’s award for excellence in the profession, according to the release.
