Feb. 26

Ernest Gutierrez, 56, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. He faces up to 180 days in jail, and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is continued with sentencing set for 10:30 a.m. March 14. Charges of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed. Any illegal drugs seized in the within action will be forfeited to the arresting agency.

March 1

Justin Shafer, Crown City, was found in contempt for failing to pay child support. He was found to be in total arrears in the amount of $8,573.60. Shafer was released on his own recognizance and ordered to supply all information to the county child support office regarding his employment. Sentencing on the matter was continued until 11 a.m. July 3 with monthly payments of $404.89 to continue.

Feb. 21

Olivares Y. Garcia, 25, Delphos, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

Feb. 22

Eric Kuhbander, 43, Leipsic, charge with domestic violence, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Justin A. Riesen, 46, Vaughnsville, pleaded guilty to telecommunications harassment. Sentence: 10 days jail, 9 days suspended, $100 fine. Another count and a charge of aggravated menacing were dismissed.

Robert J. Nunn, 49, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $100 fine and pay restitution of $2,000. A charge of assault was dismissed.

Feb. 26

Daniel T. Verhoff, 69, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine. A charge of failure to signal turn was dismissed.+

Grace M. Gamble, 21, Continental, pleaded guilty to failure to stop for unloading school bus. Sentence: 90-day license suspension and fined $250. Feb. 27

Justin J. Fulmer, 36, Lima, pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $100 fine. Charges of domestic violence and menacing were dismissed.

Emmily Roessler, 21, Perrysburg, pleaded guilty to non-consensual dissemination of private images. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine. According to court records, on Dec. 17, 2023 Roessler knowingly disseminated an image of another person, 23-years-old who was in a state of nudity or was engaged in a sexual act; the image was disseminated with intent to harm the person in the image.

Amber B. Derosia, 30, Ottawa, was fined $150 for driving under FRA/non compliance.

Feb. 29

Garry S. Fife, Jr., 44, Kalida, charged with domestic violence, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Anthony P. Davis, 36, Lima, was fined $100 for driving under FRA/non compliance.
