MILLER CITY — Miller City’s balanced offense was too much for Kalida in Wednesday’s tournament opener.

Brendan Barlage had 11 points and both Jude Otto and Andon Ruhe finished with 10.

Kalida looked to Jacob Siebeneck for 11 points.

Miller City’s win sets up a sectional final against Crestview on Friday night.

Crestview 58, Continental 14

CONVOY — Tommy Heffner scored 18 points, and Wren Sheets added a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double in a decisive first-round victory over Continental.

Continental looked to Mason Rayle for eight points.

Crestview visits Miller City on Friday night with a sectional title on the line.

Lincolnview 46, Cory-Rawson 35

RAWSON — Lincolnview used a pair of 10-point performances from Kreston Tow and Cal Evans to advance past Cory-Rawson.

The Lancers play Delphos St. John’s in the sectional finals on Friday.

Parkway 50, Fort Jennings 49

ROCKFORD — Parkay outscored Fort Jennings 12-2 in the final 4:37 en route to a one-point win over the Musketeers.

The Panthers got 17 points from Xavier Samples and 12 from Trevor Stearns.

Jarron Swick paced Fort Jennings with 20 points, followed by Ian Howbert with 19.

Parkway moves on to face Ottoville on Friday night.

LCC 53, Ada 30

LIMA — LCC cruised to a 23-point win over Ada in the first round.

Demarr Foster led the way with 17 points, and Carson Parker finished with 10.

Zach Zimmerman led Ada with 12 points.

LCC hosts New Knoxville on Friday night in the sectional finals.

Upper Scioto Valley 58, Fort Recovery 45

MCGUFFEY — Upper Scioto Valley outscored Fort Recovery 18-6 in the fourth quarter to lock up a first-round victory.

Maddox Underwood led all scorers with 28 points. Alex Sanders added 20 for the Rams.

Upper Scioto Valley matchups with another MAC team on Friday night at home against New Bremen.

New Bremen 67, Ridgemont 50

RIDGEMONT — Four New Bremen players finished in double figures during a first-round victory over Ridgemont.

Jackson Lennartz led the way with 16 for the Cardinals, and Aaron Thieman added 15.

Ridgemont got 17 points from Colton Bailey and 12 from Xavier Stuck.

New Bremen travels to McGuffey to take on Upper Scioto Valley on Friday night.
