Roundup: White breaks Putnam County scoring record

Ottawa-Glandorf 73, Van Wert 44

OTTAWA — Colin White narrowly missed a triple-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists in Ottawa-Glandorf’s win over Van Wert.

White became Putnam County’s all-time leading scorer in the 29-point victory.

The Titans (13-2, 5-0 WBL) also got 13 points from Grant Schroeder and 12 from both Grady Toumazos and Caden Erford.

Van Wert (3-13, 0-5 WBL) looked to Conner Campbell for 12 points.

Lima Senior 74, Rogers 53

LIMA — The Spartans clinched at least a share of the Toledo City League regular season title with a 21-point win over Rogers.

Jagger Hutchins had a team-high 20 points for Lima Senior. Shawn Foster added 16.

Delphos St. John’s 49, Versailles 47

DELPHOS — Cameron Elwer hit a shot at the buzzer to give Delphos St. John’s (10-2, 3-0 MAC) a last-second win over Versailles (6-5, 2-1 MAC).

Elwer finished the night leading all scorers with 25 points. Aaron Moenter added 12 for the Jays.

Jace Watren paced Versailles with 14 points, while Drake Ahrens and AJ Griesdorn added 12 and 11 points respectively.

Allen East 63, Leipsic 48

LEIPSIC — Allen East (7-6, 3-1) stayed in the NWC race with a 15-point win over Leipsic.

Carson Clum had 15 points for the Mustangs, followed by Ethan Young with 13. Brady Brooks and Logan Helser each added 12 points.

Leipsic falls to 7-8, 2-3 NWC on the season.

Celina 64, Bath 47

CELINA — Celina (8-6, 4-1) remains one game out of the top spot in the WBL standings after a win over Bath.

Braylon Gabes paced the Bulldogs with 17 points. Caleb Gabes added 13.

Bath (1-12) got a pair of 1o-point performances from Jaxon Foster and Logan Markley.

Bluffton 75, Lincolnview 59

MIDDLE POINT — Bluffton stayed perfect in conference play with a 16-point win over Lincolnview.

Wade Ginther paced the Pirates (13-1, 5-0 NWC) with 20 points. Landen Worcester (13), Blake Sommers (11), and John-Paul Yoder (10) also finished the night in double figures.

Lincolnview (4-10, 0-4 NWC) looked to Max Hammons for 13 points.

Crestview 52, Delphos Jefferson 37

CONVOY — A 17-point effort from Wren Sheets guided Crestview (11-5, 3-2 NWC) to a win over visiting Delphos Jefferson (3-10, 1-3 NWC).

Karder Agner scored a team-high 10 points for Jefferson.

Elida 56, Defiance 47

DEFIANCE — Brez Zipfel and Antonio Lopez both scored 14 points for Defiance (6-10, 2-3 WBL) in a losing effort against Elida (10-4, 3-2 WBL).

Pandora-Gilboa 58, Elmwood, 33

ELMWOOD — Pandora-Gilboa improved to 13-2 on the year with a 25-point win over Elmwood (3-10).

Cory-Rawson 52, Perry 35

RAWSON — Cory-Rawson (6-8) knocked off Perry (5-9) to pick up their sixth win of the season.

Preston Stumpp tallied a game-high 20 points for the Hornets, followed by Wilson Garmatter who finished with 15.

The Commodores were led by Marcus Hill who had 18 points.

Upper Scioto Valley 67, Temple Christian 34

LIMA — Andrue Kindle (18) and Mason Thompson (16) combined for 34 points in Upper Scioto Valley’s win over Temple Christian.

Alex Sanders also tallied 14 points for the Rams (8-5).

Nolyn Wright paced Temple Christian (6-8) with 21 points.

Wapakoneta 56, Kenton 28

KENTON — Cash Schadl nailed eight triples and finished with 24 points, leading Wapakoneta (7-7, 2-3 WBL) to a 28-point victory over Kenton (7-7, 1-4 WBL).

Gavin Payne scored a team-high 16 points for the Wildcats.

Waynesfield-Goshen 61, Elgin 57

ELGIN — Waynesfield-Goshen (4-8) used a 17-point outing from Levi Glick to get past Elgin (3-10).

Carson Barnes also contributed 14 points for the Tigers.

Elgin’s Stephen Castillo led all scorers on the night with 23 points.
