WAPAKONETA — The Indians came back from one point down entering the fourth quarter to win on the road.

Shawnee (9-4, 4-0 Western Buckeye League) got a 25-point night from Beckett Bertke to go with his team-high seven rebounds.

Wapakoneta (6-6, 1-3 WBL) looked to Zac Niekamp for 15 points and Kaden Page for 11.

Celina 69, Elida 63, OT

ELIDA — Celina hit 6 of its 9 free throws in overtime to earn a hard-fought win on the road.

Braylon Gabes had 24 points for Celina (6-5, 3-1 Western Buckeye League), including four points in the overtime period. Lennon Cisco added 18 points, all on 3-pointers. Kayden Werntz added 10 points.

Elida (9-3, 2-2 WBL) got 21 points from David Etzkorn, along with 14 apiece from Zori Island and A’mari Wash.

Delphos Jefferson 60, Ada 53

DELPHOS — Delphos Jefferson had three players reach double-figure scoring on their way to a seven-point conference win at home.

Karder Agner and Isaac Gallmeier each had 15 points for the Wildcats (2-9, 1-2 Northwest Conference). Petty added 12.

For Ada (2-11, 0-4 NWC), Slade Gossman led the way with 19 points. Zack Zimmerman added 14, and Kayleb Hickman scored 11.

Columbus Grove 58, Lincolnview 35

COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove had scoring advantages of 10 points in the fourth quarter and seven points in the second quarter to put away Lincolnview.

Trenton Barraza led the Bulldogs (6-4, 2-2 Northwest Conference) with 15 points, with Bo Birnesser not far behind with 14.

Cal Evans had 10 points to lead Lincolnview (4-8, 0-3).

Temple Christian 47, Elgin 42

LIMA — Temple Christian led by nine going into the fourth quarter and held off Elgin’s last-ditch quarter comeback try.

Malachi Menke and Isaiah Kiser each scored 14 points to lead the Pioneers (6-6, 1-2 Northwest Central Conference).

Stephen Castillo led Elgin (3-8, 2-2 NWCC) with 18 points, while Donaven Stith had 11.

Perry 65, North Baltimore 39

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Perry went on a 17-7 run in the second quarter to pull away from North Baltimore and end a six-game losing streak.

Zamere Daniel paced the Perry (4-8, 2-1 Northwest Central Conference) with 16 points, while Marcus Hill added 15 and Jason Thomas had 10.

Owen Clark led North Baltimore (2-5, 0-3 NWCC) with 12 points.

Fort Jennings 57, Continental 42

CONTINENTAL — Fort Jennings opened the game with a 15-8 advantage after one quarter and kept on rolling to their first Putnam County League win of the year.

Jarron Swick had 18 points for the Musketeers (4-9, 1-2 PCL). Calvin Menke had 15.

Continental (1-13, 0-3 PCL) looked to Mason Rayle for 15 points.

Ottawa-Glandorf 69, Bath 26

BATH TOWNSHIP — Ottawa-Glandorf steamrolled through its Western Buckeye League competition, beating Bath by 43.

Colin White led the Titans (11-2, 4-0 WBL) with 24 points despite not playing in the fourth quarter to rest up for Saturday’s home game against Lima Senior. Grant Schroeder had 13 points, also sitting out the final quarter for O-G, ranked No. 2 in last week’s Division III AP poll.

Jaxon Foster led Bath (0-11, 0-4 WBL) with 12 points.

Bluffton 70, Leipsic 43

BLUFFTON — The Pirates used a 33-10 run in the third quarter to separate themselves from the Vikings.

Blake Sommers paced Bluffton (11-1, 3-0 Northwest Conference) with 17 points, including three 3-pointers. Terron Boblitt added 13 points, including 11 in that third-quarter stretch. Landen Worcester added 10 points.

Leipsic (6-6, 2-2 NWC) looked to Tavis Bejanaro for a team-high 10 points.

Arlington 48, Pandora-Gilboa 46

PANDORA — Arlington’s Ayden Cavinee hit a shot with 5.5 seconds remaining to hand No. 6-ranked Pandora-Gilboa its first loss on the Rockets’ home court.

Arlington scored six points in the final minute and improved to 8-4, 3-1 in the Blanchard Valley Conference. Pandora-Gilboa falls to 12-1, 4-1 BVC. With Liberty-Benton’s win against McComb, the Eagles are now the only unbeaten team in league play.

Crestview 56, Allen East 52

HARROD — Crestview escaped Allen East with a four-point victory and knocked the Mustangs from the ranks of the Northwest Conference’s unbeaten.

Crestview is now 10-5, 2-2 NWC. Allen East is 6-5, 2-1 NWC.
