Girls basketball: Jefferson moves into Division III state poll

Delphos Jefferson made its debut Monday in the second Associated Press girls basketball poll, voted upon by sportswriters across the state.

The Wildcats (10-1) are tied for 10th in Division III.

Ottawa-Glandorf (11-1) dropped a spot from No. 2 in Division III last week to No. 3 this week, despite winning both of its games. Kettering Alter moved into the No. 2 spot. The Titans received one first-place vote.

In Division IV, Crestview (9-1) remained ranked No. 3 in the state.
