A semi crashed west of Leipsic Saturday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
LEIPSIC — A semi trailer crash left debris strewn over a field and prompted a response from multiple agencies Saturday afternoon near Leipsic.
According to the Putnam County Office of Public Safety’s Facebook page, multiple agencies were on the scene of the crash just before 1 p.m. Saturday in the vicinity of 9963 state Route 613 west of Leipsic. Photos of the crash show the semi tractor on its side and the flatbed trailer, which had been hauling rolled sheet metal, flipped over in a field on the right side of the highway heading eastbound.
According to the Facebook post, the Leipsic Fire Department, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County EMS, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Putnam County EMA all responded to the accident. The post also said that no injuries were reported.
The Putnam County Office of Public Safety also reminded readers to “pay attention to your surroundings when driving.”
