Andre M. Woods, 28, Ottawa, was placed on five years community control for the charge of aggravated possession of drugs (meth). The judge also ordered Woods to complete all counseling and treatment recommended and that all evidence seized by the state of Ohio to be destroyed.

Dion Duran, 35, Ottawa, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for attempted illegal conveyance of drugs, and aggravated possession of drugs. He was placed on five years community control and was given credit for 78 days served. He must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended.

According to court records, on Oct. 12. 2023, Duran knowingly brought methamphetamines onto the grounds of a detention facility, the Putnam County Jail, located at 1035 Heritage Trail in Ottawa. The schedule II drug was tucked into his sock.

Rose M. Heacock, 48, Leipsic, was found by the court to be in contempt (second offense) in paying child support. She was found to be in arrears in the amount of $2,341.14 for the period of July 2023. Sentencing on the matter was continued to 8:30 a.m. March 6.

Terrell A. Harris, 34, Lexington, Ky., was fined $150 for driving under FRA non compliance.

Dec. 21

Deybi Roblero, 22, Burlington, N.C., was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.

Keith E. Cupp, 59, Leipsic, pleaded no contest to criminal mischief and was found guilty. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $500 fine.

Dec. 22

Samantha N. Manson, 41, Grover Hill, charged with drug abuse/possession, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Dec. 26

Michael A. Bonnell, 62, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to physical control and was found guilty. Sentence:180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, 12-month license suspension with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

Tim Cooper, 40, Lima, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid license. Sentence: 180 days jail, $1,000 fine, $500 suspended. He was fined $25 for brake lights required.
